Prayer Priorities . . .
1. Parry Sound, ON
Johan’s Grief Recovery programs continue to grow as people complete the course and then tell others around them how they feel as a result. His days are getting busier which is wonderful but also very draining for him as he hears so many difficult stories. Please pray for strength and endurance for him. We have a friend who has really made great progress in her journey with Jesus, but a recent devastating event has her wondering why God would let this happen to her. This is a difficult question for all of us when we walk through valleys. Will you pray with us, that she will cling to Jesus even as she questions why. The temptation is to just say forget it, God obviously doesn’t care about me, why bother. Please pray that God will give us the right words at the right time to encourage her.
2. Executive Director
Pray for the Board of Directors as they pursue a prospective candidate for the position of Executive Director. Pray for wisdom and discernment in the selection process and pray for the candidate that he would sense God’s direction for his life.
3. Daren George
Pray for Daren George as he contemplates re-engaging ministry with Rising Above. The debilitating symptoms of his stroke are improving and he desires to serve in some capacity that would be suitable for him. Would you pray that God would continue to heal him and direct him and Rising Above as they explore this.
4. Winnipeg Conference
Pray for spiritual protection over the attendees of the Winnipeg conference who made decisions at the conference to further their healing and walk with God. Pray that they will remain steadfast.
THANKS for your willingness to pray…
